The last one month had been hectic. Things had been moving so fast that we had hardly anytime time to think about anything else other than our first collection for KOSLAK. There was some relief although short-lived when we finally managed to send our entry for the Lakme Gen Next Winter-Festive 2011 show on time. The days before that were crazy! Finishing the garments, putting the labels right and then the preview shoot for the collection, packing things, making challans, invoices and declarations and finally couriering it. Thanks to DHL TDD (time definite delivery) our parcel reached the IMG office and received by Nitin right on time. Phewww!

But then soon after there was this indefinite phase in which we would not be able to stop thinking about the results which were expected on the 20th of June. Truly speaking we were happy with the garments that we had sent to the Jury. We were expecting some positive feedback but did not think loud.

Monday, 20th June 10:55AM the phone rang. It was Amtosh from IMG. Yes! KOSLAK was in! We were definitely ecstatic. Being nominated for Lakme Gen Next would be dream come true for anybody pursuing fashion earnestly in India. We would take this opportunity to acknowledge the Jury members, LFW Team and the IMG Team who apprehended our potential and distinctiveness. We would humbly accept this prospect and give our best to meet their expectations. Through our creations we will convey something elite and worth appreciative.

The days seem to have become shorter now. There are so many things to be done all at once. Just to give a sneak peek in the KOSLAK studio we are compiling the final pieces of an exclusive menswear collection. We are aiming at a capsule collection of about ten outfits for the show as part of the KOSLAK : PROJECT chig (one). We are working hard and hope that KOSLAK would be well accepted.
